FREUD has a unique charm, blending cultures, styles and instruments into an extraordinary musical combination.
The tracks on the debut album "Best Most Beautiful" burst the limitations of guitar rock over and over again.
Each song stands for itself whilst melting into a complete work, the album, a gift rarely seen these days.
The ideas formulated by the group take twists and turns to contribute to the truly convincing compositions of FREUD.
On the surface the lyrics do not purposely go into any great depth, whilst inner meanings and symbolism reflect the lives and times we live in right now.
What FREUD wants to do is simply to entertain, shed light on the sunny side of life and keep the worries out, of course not neglecting the occasional grief of heart.

Their current singles "Sex You Again / Beep That Girl", "Kiss Me 4 Times / Plus Minus" & „Last Another Day / Best Most Beautiful“ were top of the Austrian Indie Charts and garnered the support of FM4, Radio 88.6 and
GO-TV, then enthusiastically amassed an audience which was simply swept of their feet in legendary Austrian music clubs like Flex, Chelsea, Weekender, Fledermaus, OK Linz, Badeschiff and Roten Bar / Volkstheater.
